April 2023 Template Freebie | Sahlin Stuio

Here is the April's free template from Sahlin Studio, download it here for free through the whole month.

This template was perfect to tell the story of seeing Hamilton. I had got tickets for it back in 2020 as a surprise for Mad's birthday. And then we had a world wide pandemic.

Last summer, after nearly 2 years of waiting, we finally got to go see Hamilton.

And it did not disappoint. Such a great show. I can see why people see it multiple times. I'd love to see it live again. Maybe one day... For now, I'm just glad I saw it at least once.

Here is my layout:

To document this story, I also used Drift Away, which is April's featured product from Sahlin Studio. All elements of this collection are 50% through the month.

I'm always so happy to get a story told.

PL2023 - Week 9 | Sahlin Studio

I used April's featured product, Drift Away for week 9 of my project life album.

To check it out, follow this link. It's on sale for 50% off through all of April.

For this weeks layout I changed most to the photos to black and white. It made the layout a little more cohesive, especially using the soft colours from this kit.

I seem to have been drawn to yellow while working on this layout. Probably because I was tired of watching the snow swirl down at the time. So ready for some colour in our world.

• What I see sitting across from him.
• Super fast date night.
• Went to see Anastasia.
• So. Much. Snow.

We have had So. Much. Snow.

I'm aware that I sound like a broken record. But at this time of year, when we've celebrated the first day of spring... I just want spring.

We're a long way off.

Here are combined weeks 7 & 8 of my project life album.

• Snow, snow and more snow...
• The cutest little doggo ever, who has a love/hate relationship with the snow. And being cold.

PL2023 - Week 5 | Sahlin Studio

Here's week 5 of my project life ablum.

To document this week I used some of the pieces from the Birthday Cake collection. It's the March featured product from Sahlin Studio. Through the whole month, you can pick up the whole collection or individual elements for 50% off. Such a great deal! And pretty versatile.

• Our new furnace was installed, finally. Once up and running, the stress level decreased significantly.
• Celebrating Grandma's birthday. We went out for dinner and came back to the house for cake.
• So impressed that Barry fixed our dishwasher. Worth celebrating for sure, we saved at least a thousand dollars.
• Me and my bestie and her bestie... [She had to get in on the action] It was hilarious.

PL2023 - Week 3 | Sahlin Studio

Combined weeks 3 & 4 of my project life album.

I go through weeks were I take a ton of photos and other times it seems like weeks go by without any pictures. This was one of those times. So I simply double up the weeks.

• We helped move Uncle G one weekend.
• Barry and I made the trip to Abraham Lake, to check out the methane gas bubbles, definitely worth the trip.
• The day after our road trip, we got walloped by a snowstorm. So. Much. Snow.

March 2023 Template Freebie | Sahlin Studio

Happy March!

We finished off February with a whopping 32.1 cm of snow. [12.64 inches] Most of that falling in the past week. February is a short month, but it sometimes feels brutal and long.

I get terribly jealous when people start to post photos of blooming cherry blossoms... We're literally months away from that.

Today is gorgeous, it's +5 degrees Celsius, the sun is shining, the roads are an utter disaster. The forecast is for it too cool off once again, with the chance of more snow...

On the bright side, here's the template for March, from Sahlin Studio. Download it for free through the whole month.

We took the kids to yet another concert. [We're making up for time lost during Covid] Part of their Chrismtas present was tickets to see Chilliwack and Honeymoon Suite. We had front row seats people. Front row. It was pretty epic. So thankful that the kids have the most awesome taste in music.
