PL2022 - Week 43 | Sahlin Studio

We're nearing the end of 2022.

Here is week 43 of my project life album.

  • Furnace issues, thankful it wasn't too cold [the too cold furnace problems acted up last week, when our average overnight low temps were in the the -40 degree celsius range]
  • Love watching this kid play hockey.
  • Jack-o-lanterns.
  • Sweet little dog with a fresh cut.
  • Another halloween costume under our belts...

PL2022 - Weeks 41 & 42 | Sahlin Studio

Weeks 41 and 42 of October are combined.

I still can't get over what an amazing fall we had this year.

We enjoyed short sleeved t-shirts until almost the end of October. Unheard of in our parts. It cooled down as soon as the sun set. And the days were noticeably shorter, but it was lovely just the same.

  • Crunchy leaves under my feet. A fall favourite.
  • Little dog sunning herself on the back patio. She's a sun worshipper.
  • Candlelight concert with Barry, such a memorable evening.
  • Chores in Cochrane.
  • And hello snow... This is more like the 'fall' we're used to in Calgary.

December 2022 Template Freebie | Sahlin Studio

Here is the final template freebie of 2022.

I'm honestly not sure how it can possibly be the end of this year, yet here we ware.

To download this template, free through December, follow this link.

Here is the layout I made using the template:

For many years, the anticipation of the Christmas cups was high. Then Covid hit, and no one left their houses. That was when my coffee runs out of the house, literally came to a screeching halt. I think I can count on one hand how many times I've been to Starbucks in the past few years...

So I was delighted on a recent trip to Tim Horton's to get a Christmas cup. I also loved the idea of documenting my favourite things as we head into this holiday season.

A super simple page and thanks to the template and some dragging and dropping.

Mad for Plaid | Sahlin Stuio

It's that time of year again, I'm tinkering with my December Daily album.

I don't have as many foundation pages done as I'd like to, but I'm not stressing about it at all. I'll just work on them when I can. I'm always glad to put the effort in to make a December Daily album, even if it does not get totally finished.

I've used December's featured product from Sahlin Studio, Mad for Plaid to fiddle a bit with this years title page of my album. For the whole month of December, this collection and all it's elements can be picked up for 50% off!

I will be using these photos, for sure.

But I may change things around a bit. But at least it's a starting off point to get the creative juices flowing.

I participated in Ali Edwards December Daily Prep Day 2022 class back in mid-November. It was AWESOME. So easy to get hyped up and inspired with so many great creators and ideas! It was totally worth the $5 it cost to take it. I would recommend to anyone who is on the fence. Sign up next year!

I plan to make this years album a little bit of everything. Some physical layouts [I got the Document your December kit from Elle's Studio] and some digital layouts. At the end of the day, I'll be glad I've done it, no matter how it turns out. Every year I think I might create it all digital, and then have a book printed at the end. Some year I will, but it's not this year...

Happy December memory making everyone!
