Here's week 23 of my project life album. 

• The shining sun and blue skies are two things that help improve the mood immensly. 
• Having both your kids in the front seat of a the vehicle will never not seem weird. 
• But hanging out at the pub with them is super fun.
• So are dog selfies.
• Walks with friends are awesome, only made better by a stranger offering to take your picture.

Our most epic road trip happened in 2019. We left our house in Calgary, Alberta and did a huge road trip down to the USA. We spent so much time in the car, but also had the best time. Vibrant Collection | Dunia Scraps

I've been invited to be a guest on Dunia Designs for the next 3 months.

This layout has no photos, but is all about our disappointment in not getting THE email after registering for Taylor Swift tickets. 

Man oh-man... Such disappointment to be put on the waitlist. 

We've heard since, that over 33 million people registered. [Keeping in mind that the population of Canada is just over 38 million] Also, she's only coming to Toronto, which is the first hurdle, but we thought if we could get tickets, we'd cross that bridge when we got to it. 

We're not totally shut out yet. We still have a chance next week.  Crossing our fingers so hard. 

I was sure Mad had manifested this to come true... She's desperate to see this concert. Like so many others.

I can't remember an artist that has this kind of following. I'm so happy for her. I just wish we could see her in person too!

August 2023 Template Freebie | Sahlin Studio

It's August which means that Sahlin Studio has released her free monthly template.

We just celebrated a grade 12 graduation here, so this was the perfect template to showcase some grad photos. 

I feel really fortunate that we were able to experience this, because when Mason graduated, in 2020 we were in full pandemic lockdown mode.

It's super hard to get my head around the fact, that Mad is old enough to graduate. What does that say about her Dad and I? We don't feel like we're old enough to have any kids graduated, let alone two.
