PL2022 - Week 48 | Sahlin Studio

Okay, I did it. I'm finally caught up to December...

The remainder of my month is going to be a two page spread, hopefully tying all the main December things together.

I'm doing it that way, because I also have my December Daily album, which I'm more than half way through putting it together. I have all the photos printed. I still have to embellish and do some journalling.  My goal was to get it done and shelved by the end of January. I still have a few days left to do that, so it just might happen...

Here is week 48 of my project life album. There were a lot of colour contrasts, so I changed almost all the photos to black and white, so it looks a bit more cohesive. 

 

• Watching a performance of A Christmas Story, a mainstage show put on by the drama society. 
• Snuggles with my favourite furry friend.
• Spruce Meadows craft market with Carrie
• Fudge making day with the Moe girls.

January 2023 Template Freebie | Sahlin Studio

Happy 2023!! Wow... That doesn't exactly roll off the tongue does it? But it's here nonetheless. After a snow filled November and a truly frigid December, we're enjoying slightly above seasonal temperatures right now, and I'm here for it.  Every day that it's nice right now, is one less day of winter.

I gave up making new year resolutions years ago. I found that doing that just sets you up for failure. On the other hand, I do like to have goals I'm striving towards. [That seems more manageable to me, and less of a disappointment when I look back and realize I dropped the majority of my resolutions a few days into the new year]

I like to create a list of goals, that I can look back at. Here are my goals for 2023.

It's much easier to talk about getting outside more, when the weather is warmer. Like it is currently. I mean yes, you can definitely dress in layers, but at -40 degrees celsius with the wind, cold is cold... When temps get into the -30's [and they likely will again] it is safe to say, I will be hunkered down inside. 

I know we're not out of the woods yet. We will have some blustery days ahead, but so far, I'm on track. [Me and my little side kick]

I feel like I'm well on my way into 2023.

Trying to catch up the remaining weeks for 2022.

Here's week 44: 

• Did Mad go out trick or treating wearing a wolf mask? Yes. Yes indeed. But what a haul...
• Artist problems. 
• Halloween was a mild night, we got more trick or treaters than we have ever had. We just about ran out of candy. And the next day it snowed...
• Date night to see Jesus Christ Superstar.
• Love this photo.
